John McGuire Desperately Lies about War in Iran as Gas Prices Skyrocket for Virginians

Virginians are facing skyrocketing gas prices and record high diesel costs thanks to John McGuire voting for a $40 billion war in Iran.

Now, McGuire is trying to shamelessly cover up the fact that he is the reason Virginians are paying more at the pump.

New reporting from the Daily Progress reveals that while McGuire attempts to shift the blame on rising prices, “The Congressional Budget Office…has been explicit that Iran’s decision to disrupt shipments of fuel through the nearby Strait of Hormuz is a direct consequence of America’s war and a direct cause of skyrocketing fuel prices.”

As Virginia families are left wondering when prices will come down, all McGuire can offer is: “Hopefully soon, but no answers.”
