As poll after poll reveals that the American people are struggling under rising inflation and growing disapproval of how Trump and Republicans are handling health care, rising costs, tariffs, immigration, and the war in Iran, Speaker Mike Johnson has decided the best course of action is to go all-in on each and every one of these politically toxic issues.
Johnson’s to-do list includes a blank check for masked and lawless ICE agents, $1 billion for Trump’s ballroom, and billions more for Trump’s war of choice in the Middle East – paying for all of it by making more cuts to health care and the social safety net.
