JUAN CISCOMANI DID THAT: Arizonans Going Uninsured Due to Expiration of ACA Tax Credits

KFF poll finds majority of Americans blame GOP for high costs

Juan Ciscomani’s refusal to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits has triggered a sharp rise in premiums, leaving Arizona families with impossible choices. According to new reports, a staggering majority of ACA enrollees are now cutting back on food, utilities, and other essentials just to afford their monthly premiums.

REMINDER: Ciscomani warned of “massive” consequences and “real harm” for Arizonans if Congress failed to extend the ACA tax credits, even saying “doing nothing is not an option.” Despite his rhetoric, Ciscomani caved to DC party bosses and voted AGAINST an extension.

Unfortunately, Ciscomani was right: As premiums skyrocket, the number of uninsured Arizonans is climbing for the first time in years – erasing a decade of progress in national health coverage.

For millions of hardworking Arizona families, the choice between a doctor’s visit and a meal is no longer a hypothetical – it is a daily reality that will be answered at the ballot box.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Juan Ciscomani bent the knee to Donald Trump and failed to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits. Arizonans will remember in November.”
