Today, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced his efforts to implement a draconian 121-year-old total abortion ban in the state of Arizona, which was passed 11 years before Arizona even became a state and has been blocked for nearly 50 years.
This cruel effort to ban all abortion in Arizona provides NO exceptions except to save the life of the woman, and is only possible because of the Supreme Court’s decision to end Roe v. Wade. Juan Ciscomani cheered the devastating dismantling of 50 years of constitutional protections to protect abortion access, knowing full well that it would lead to total abortion bans like the one Attorney General Brnovich is pushing right now.
Juan Ciscomani has a dangerous, harmful record on reproductive rights, and is out of step with the 79% of Arizona voters who believe that abortion should be legal.
