Today, the Biden administration announced the first set of 10 medicines that Medicare will finally have the power to directly negotiate the price of thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act – a law Juan Ciscomani opposed on the campaign trail.
Drugs to fight cancer, diabetes, and heart disease will be more affordable for Arizonans.
In addition to this newly announced reform, the Inflation Reduction Act is already saving Arizonans money by capping the cost of insulin to $35 per month for qualifying households and making the Shingles vaccination free.
If Juan Ciscomani had his way, Arizonans would be paying more for prescription drugs.
DCCC spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“Juan Ciscomani – who has proven to be a rubber-stamp for the extreme Marjorie Taylor Greene agenda in Congress – opposed legislation that lowers the cost of life-saving prescription drugs, delivers for Arizona families, and stands up to Big Pharma. Get real.”
