| As health care costs continue to skyrocket thanks to House Republicans letting ACA tax credits expire, Ciscomani seems to have no problem making life even more expensive for Arizonans.
Ciscomani just voted against a bipartisan effort to extend ACA tax credits for three years. Yesterday, Ciscomani even tried – and failed – to block the proposal from coming to the floor for a vote.
The DCCC will continue holding Ciscomani accountable for his long record of attacking affordable health care and breaking his promise to lower costs for Arizonans, including:
- Voting for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history, despite promising Arizonans that he “cannot and will not” cut Medicaid and admitting doing so “jeopardizes” Arizonans’ health care
- Gutting more than $110 MILLION a year in funding for Southern Arizona health care centers, including $55 million annually for facilities in his district
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Today’s vote is another cruel reminder that Juan Ciscomani is too much of a coward to stand up to DC party leaders. Ciscomani clearly doesn’t care about Arizonans struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care bills. Voters will remember Ciscomani’s betrayal at the ballot box.” |
