Last night, voters in red state Kansas resoundingly voted to protect their access to abortion.
Don’t tell the National Republican Campaign Committee in charge of electing GOP House candidates, who have repeatedly downplayed the idea that taking away basic rights for half of the country’s population will have an impact on the 2022 election.
This is a warning to every single GOP congressional candidate, who have staked out some of the most extreme, dangerous positions possible on abortion. Chris West in GA-02 wants to ban abortion with NO exceptions – not even if it would save the life of the pregnant woman.

Voters made clear in a state much redder than Georgia that they don’t want the GOP’s toxic policies to take away women’s right to make our own health care decisions.”
