Last night, voters in red-state Kansas resoundingly voted to protect their access to abortion.
Don’t tell the national Republicans who claim “abortion isn’t the winning issue Democrats think it is.”
This is a warning to Kevin Kiley, who has consistently attacked abortion rights.
Kiley’s positions on abortion aren’t just politically unpopular, they are simply unacceptable. Kevin Kiley is endorsed by the state affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee, which supports a nationwide abortion ban without exceptions for rape or when an individual’s life is at risk. Kiley has ridiculed calls to protect abortion access and believes employers should be able to fire employees for seeking abortion care.
