Last night, voters in red-state Kansas resoundingly voted to protect their access to abortion.
Don’t tell the National Republican Campaign Committee in charge of electing GOP House candidates, who claim “Abortion isn’t the winning issue Democrats think it is.”
This is a warning to every single GOP congressional candidate running in New Hampshire, who have all vowed, at worst, to ban abortion nationwide, and, at minimum, would allow states to pass total abortion bans.
These candidates’ positions on abortion aren’t just politically unpopular, they are simply unacceptable.
James Singer, DCCC spokesperson:
“The results in Kansas should ring alarm bells in these two right-wing GOP primaries. Voters made clear in a state much redder than New Hampshire that they don’t want the GOP’s toxic agenda to take away the rights of New Hampshire women to make their own health care decisions.”
