Kansas Abortion Results a Warning to PA Republicans

GOP candidates’ positions on abortion are politically toxic

Last night, voters in red-state Kansas resoundingly voted to protect their access to abortion.

Don’t tell the National Republican Campaign Committee in charge of electing GOP House candidates, who claim “Abortion isn’t the winning issue Democrats think it is.

This is a warning to every single GOP congressional candidate running in Pennsylvania, who are all running on the same ticket as radical anti-abortion thug Doug Mastriano and oppose protecting abortion rights and in many cases would ban it with no exceptions for rape and incest.

These candidates’ positions on abortion aren’t just politically unpopular, they are simply unacceptable.

James Singer, DCCC spokesperson:
“The results in Kansas should ring alarm bells in these two right-wing GOP primaries. Voters made clear in a state much redder than Pennsylvania that they don’t want the GOP’s toxic agenda to take away the rights of Pennsylvania women to make their own health care decisions.”
