Vulnerable Congressman Runs Scared, Refuses to Say If President Trump Inviting Foreign Interference Is Okay
We can’t make this up.
John Katko was caught on tape running from a constituent’s question about President Trump’s role in the Ukraine scandal.
When asked “is it okay if the president is asking foreign governments to interfere in our elections?” the vulnerable Congressman can be seen refusing to answer the question and running for the exits.
This question comes the very same week we learned one of Rudy Giuliani’s indicted associates, who was arrested as he attempted to flee the country for funneling Russian money to US campaigns, had used an alias to fill Katko’s campaign coffers.
John Katko must now answer: Is it appropriate for the President of the United States to invite foreign nations to meddle in our elections?
“John Katko brags about being tough on crime, but when it comes to Trump’s election interference, he’s tough to get an answer from. He can’t wiggle his way out of this one, and he owes his constituents a clear answer to this simple question: is it okay for a President to ask Ukraine, China or any other nation to interfere in our elections?” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett
