Tom Kean Jr’s GOP backers in Washington continue to stake out far-right positions on the fundamental issues that matter to families in New Jersey and across the country.
Rep. Steve Scalise, Kean endorser and member of House GOP leadership, confirmed today that he will oppose and whip against a bill to strengthen the Electoral Count Act. The ECA is a basic bipartisan proposal to ensure that extremist politicians like Scalise cannot disregard the results of free and fair elections.
Threats to democracy were the most important issue to voters according to a new NBC News poll, with 20% of those surveyed listing it in the top spot.
Important: Kean has refused numerous times to say January 6th was not “legitimate political discourse.”
