Yesterday, during a Ways & Means Committee hearing Rep. Mike Kelly once again voted to take away key protections for people with pre-existing conditions in Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District. DCCC spokesperson Amanda Sherman released the following statement:
“Rep. Mike Kelly has once again sided with party bosses in Washington over his constituents, voting to allow insurance companies to deny coverage to the hundreds of thousands of people in his district with asthma, diabetes, and other pre-existing conditions. The people of Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District will remember this betrayal in November.”
