Kemp to End Stay at Home Order: Will Handel and Unterman Stand with Him Again?

As Georgia voters trash Ga. Governor’s coronavirus response, will Karen Handel and Renee Unterman once again have Kemp’s back?

Tonight, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Gov. Brian Kemp is poised to let Georgia’s statewide stay at home order expire, even as a new poll showed that an overwhelming 62 percent of Georgia voters disagree with Kemp’s partial rollback last week.

Over the past year, Georgia Republican congressional candidates Karen Handel and Renee Unterman have had Governor Brian Kemp’s back at critical times.

Unterman was Kemp’s quarterback in the Georgia Senate to pass the state’s rigid “near-total abortion ban,” while Handel endorsed Kemp’s politically disastrous decision to re-open businesses like bowling alleys, tattoo parlors and nail salons last week.

Tomorrow, will Handel and Unterman have Governor Kemp’s back once again?
