Rather than rescind his support of Donald Trump after he was convicted on 34 felony counts, Ken Calvert is instead undermining the rule of law and rallying to the former president’s defense.
Calvert’s blind loyalty to the first former U.S. President ever convicted of a felony is wildly out of step with the Inland Empire, and his choice to abandon Californians to defend Trump – particularly after fundraising less than and polling below his Democratic challenger – will cost him in November.
