Today, Kevin Coughlin announced his endorsement from Speaker Mike Johnson, the far-right zealot currently joining Donald Trump to prepare for “The Big Lie 2.0” ahead of the 2024 elections.
This comes as no surprise, given Coughlin has already committed himself to Johnson’s MAGA platform, from bragging about co-sponsoring or supporting “every allowable” bill to restrict reproductive rights, to gutting Social Security and Medicare, to ripping away health care from Ohioans.
DCCC Spokesperson Aidan Johnson:
“It’s fitting that Mike Johnson would support Kevin Coughlin, given that they are no strangers to pioneering anti-abortion legislation or attacking the critical programs Ohio families rely on. This endorsement is only further proof that Coughlin can’t be trusted to stand up to MAGA extremists and their ongoing effort to roll back women’s fundamental freedoms.” |
