Kevin Lincoln Added to Wildly Unpopular “MAGA Majority” in CA-13

“The NRCC is calling two-time loser Kevin Lincoln what he is: MAGA through and through. It’s another reminder to voters in the Central Valley that Lincoln will be a rubber stamp for the worst of the Republican agenda that’s driving up costs, pushing reckless tariffs hurting Valley farmers, and gutting health care for nearly two-thirds of California’s 13th Congressional District. Lincoln’s inclusion in this group tells you he’s not running to stand up for the Valley – he’s running to fall in line with the most extreme voices in his party.” 

Take it from Congressman Adam Gray, who upon launching his re-election campaign this week, said: “my Republican opponents have a lot to explain as to why they support the path this administration is on, which is leading to inflation and high prices and a lack of affordability.”

REMINDER: The NRCC Chair said he “absolutely” wants President Trump stumping with candidates in California, and polling from YouGov finds just 16% of U.S. citizens identify as “MAGA.” Even Republicans have admitted their razor-thin majority is going down in November.

• Lincoln campaigned on a platform of promoting public safety as mayor – yet crime skyrocketed under his tenure and his mismanagement of law enforcement resulted in staff shortages and lower pay for local officers.
• Lincoln has already made life more expensive for working families. As mayor, housing rental and utility prices for water and wastewater dramatically increased.
• Lincoln spent millions that could have gone to repair roads and tackle homelessness on lavish updates for a sports arena and millions more in taxpayer dollars renovating his office in City Hall.
• Lincoln is bought and paid for by the GOP. Reports show that he pocketed more than $50,000 in salary directly from the California Republican Party, “declin[ing] to comment” on the nature of his employment.
• Lincoln is extreme and anti-choice. He refused to answer whether he supported restricting abortion access for military service members, celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and called himself “pro-life.”
