| According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the GOP Tax Scam will cost working class Americans an average of $1,200 a year and hand the wealthiest Americans an additional $13,600 annually.
For Young Kim’s constituents, the losses hit especially hard. Her vote rips away health care from 31,000 people and could slash food assistance for more than 15,000 households in her district – all so the ultra-wealthy can pocket another tax break.
Instead of protecting working families, Kim doubled down on dismantling the very programs her district relies on: health care, food assistance, and tax credits that help families make ends meet – while ensuring the ultra-wealthy walk away with a cash haul.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Young Kim showed exactly where her true allegiance lies – with billionaires, not the families she was elected to represent. Californians deserve a representative who will fight to lower costs and expand opportunity, not someone who sells them out to hand giveaways to the ultra-wealthy.” |
