Last Night on MSNBC: The DCCC “Won the Week”

The DCCC is “beating [Republicans] at their own game… Republicans are very stressed”

This week, the DCCC “shellack[ed] the NRCC in fundraising,” more than doubling the NRCC’s August fundraising haul, the NRCC Chief was caught donating $12,800 to scandal-ridden North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson, and the NRCC inexplicably added new candidates to their ‘top’ recruitment program who have “questionable records on antisemitism.”

It’s no wonder the DCCC earned the title ‘winner of the week’ on MSNBC’s The ReidOut last night.

Molly Jong Fast: Mine is the DCCC, you know, thankless job trying to win back the House, but they have been really fundraising, like millions of dollars more than the Republicans, beating them at their own game. Republicans are very stressed. We saw, you know, Mike Johnson complaining that he’s being outraised. So they are raising money. They are very targeted. They have a bunch of seats to flip. And by the way, the Republican candidates, they’re not great.

Joy Reid: They’re not great. And the DCCC is important, and you know, you really do want that Democrat with that gavel on January 6.
