Over the weekend, the Modesto Bee’s Editorial Board lambasted vulnerable Congressman Jeff Denham for refusing to answer if he supports Trump.
The truth is that Denham has already promised to hop on the racist, xenophobic and generally offensive Trump train that’s been chugging along for over a year now. It would be pointless and duplicitous if Denham attempted to reject Trump now.
“Running from Trump is no longer an option, no matter what Jeff Denham does or says now,” said Barb Solish of the DCCC. “It’s time for Denham to accept the reality he is running on the Trump ticket.”
