New data from the bipartisan Joint Economic Committee shows just how devastating Ann Wagner’s plan to gut health care would be for Missouri families.
More than 250,000 Missourians would be kicked off their insurance if Wagner’s Tax Scam becomes law, including:
- 21,266 individuals in Wagner’s own district, 15,500 of whom would lose Affordable Care Act coverage and 5,766 of whom would lose Medicaid coverage.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Kicking more than 250,000 Missourians off their insurance would have devastating consequences for patients, providers, and hospitals across the state. Instead of fighting to lower prices, Ann Wagner chose to hike health care costs for everyone. Voters aren’t going to forget that Wagner sold them out to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.”
