Jobs report shows huge growth of 500K+ jobs in October and includes massive revisions of 235K jobs added in August and September
Thanks to Democrats’ economic agenda, the U.S. Labor Department reported employers added an impressive 531,000 jobs in October, significantly exceeding experts’ predictions of new jobs once again. The report also made massive revisions to the previous two months’ job numbers, revising August’s jobs gains up by 117,000 and September’s job gains up by 118,000.
The report found the unemployment rate dropped to a new pandemic-era low of 4.6%, and thanks to the leadership of President Biden and Congressional Democrats, the U.S. has now recovered 81% of the jobs lost in the pandemic.
Some of the most notable job gains appeared in manufacturing, infrastructure, and warehousing, proving that Democrats are rebuilding the economy to serve everyone, not just the wealthy. With these latest numbers, President Biden and Congressional Democrats have created over 5.5 million jobs this year.
“While House Republicans were busy spreading conspiracy theories, lying about the effectiveness of vaccines and filling up ICU beds, and recruiting radical extremists candidates, democrats delivered relief,” said DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre. “This historic economic growth our nation is experiencing right now is because Democrats in Congress and President Biden passed an economic agenda to get folks back on payroll, businesses back on their feet, and our economy soaring to new levels.”
