Latest Super PAC Ad Buy Proves David Valadao is Vulnerable

CLF reserving millions to save vulnerable incumbent David Valadao

Vulnerable Republican David Valadao has acknowledged it himself: he is in the most Democratic seat held by a Republican. Redistricting has put the Republican, who opposed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and voted to raise taxes on Central Valley families while voting to cut Social Security and Medicare, into the tough position of explaining why he followed the agenda of his Republican party bosses at the expense of Central Valley families.

Clearly, the Conservative Leadership Fund – House Republicans’ main super PAC – knows Valadao is in trouble. That’s why they announced an initial ad buy in the millions on Valadao’s home turf to bolster the embattled incumbent.

DCCC Spokesperson Maddy Mundy
“Today’s ad buy shows Republicans know David Valadao is in trouble. He is facing one of the most competitive races in the country, where he will struggle to explain his tax-raising, Social Security-cutting record. Democratic challenger Asm. Rudy Salas is offering Central Valley families a leader who will fight to cut costs and lower taxes when elected to Congress.”
