Last night, as she led the country towards a government shutdown over her extreme demands, Lauren Boebert also voted for legislation that would restrict access to safe, legal abortion medication mifepristone – one of the most common methods for an abortion.
Boebert has constantly tried to chip away at Coloradans’ reproductive freedom. She repeatedly supported a national ban on abortion with no exceptions and voted against legislation that would protect many common forms of contraception and birth control for Coloradans.
REMINDER: Recently, the chair of the GOP Conference reiterated the Republican plot to enact a nationwide abortion ban – asserting Republicans “will get [it] done.”
