Lauren Boebert Puts New Extreme Speaker and His Agenda Over Coloradans

Today, Lauren Boebert elected Rep. Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House. After standing loyally by “mentor” and House Freedom Caucus founder Jim Jordan, Boebert went all in for yet another fellow extremist:

In case you haven’t heard of him, here’s a bit about Johnson:

• Johnson pushed for a total abortion ban without exceptions and voted for legislation to punish doctors for providing essential reproductive care.

• Johnson served as the chair of the Republican Study Committee, leading their efforts to slash Social Security and Medicare.

• Johnson was instrumental in the plan to overturn the 2020 election – the New York Times named him “the most important architect of the Electoral College objections.”

• Like Boebert, Johnson voted against the PACT Act, which expanded access to critical care for veterans who were exposed to dangerous toxic chemicals during their service.

Lauren Boebert has completely abandoned working families in Colorado, propping up election deniers, anti-abortion extremists, and relentless attacks on Social Security and Medicare.
