Last week, Lea Marquez-Peterson launched a new television ad where she tried to pick and choose what to disclose about her immigration record, but she left out two important immigration positions that Arizona voters need to know about:
- Lea Marquez-Peterson is a supporter of President Trump’s border wall, which would cost taxpayer dollars and have a devastating economic impact in Arizona’s Second Congressional District.
- Lea Marquez-Peterson stood with President Trump after his “animals” comments and said she strongly believes that they were not racist.
“Just like she left out the lawsuits and delinquent taxes from her failed business record, Lea Marquez-Peterson is now picking and choosing which positions on immigration she wants Arizona voters to know about,” said Javier Gamboa of the DCCC. “At the end of the day, Lea Marquez-Peterson shares President Trump’s core immigration principles, like building the inefficient, wasteful and expensive border wall. Arizona voters deserve someone who will be truthful with them from day one and Lea Marquez-Peterson is not that person.”
