Lesson Not Learned: Marjorie Taylor Greene Makes Yet Another Nazi-era Comparison As McCarthy and Emmer Stand By

Just weeks after visiting the Holocaust Museum, GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene showed that she didn’t learn a thing after making another offensive Nazi-era comparison.

Despite her latest attack calling those who are helping Americans get vaccinated “medical brown shirts”, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer have refused to hold her accountable for any of her racist and antisemitic rhetoric.

REMEMBER: NRCC Chairman Rep. Tom Emmer and Minority Leader McCarthy are still mum on whether they’ll return the $175,000 Marjorie Taylor Greene contributed to the NRCC.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to make offensive comparisons to Nazis because she knows there will be no real consequences from Kevin McCarthy or Tom Emmer,” said DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. “McCarthy and Emmer have been nothing but complicit and cowardly in the face of Greene’s repeated racism and antisemitism. It’s clear that they value the $175,000 she contributed to the NRCC more than holding her accountable for her divisive rhetoric.”

In case you lost track of Rep. Greene’s obsession with making Nazi-era comparisons:

  • “People have a choice, they don’t need your medical brown shirts showing up at their door ordering vaccinations.”
  • In reference to mask mandates: “We can look back in a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens — so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany, and this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about.”
  • “You know, Nazis were the National Socialist Party. Just like the Democrats are now a national socialist party.”
  • “Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear a gold star.”
