Like a Lawn Chair: Jen Kiggans Set To Fold Again on ACA Credits, Leaving Virginians With Higher Costs

After pretending to support an extension for ACA tax credits, Kiggans admitted she’ll vote for Republicans’ funding plan that does not include them
Few things in life are certain: death, taxes, and Republican Congresswoman Jen Kiggans folding when Virginians need her most.

Kiggans, who spent the past week lying to Virginians about supporting an extension of ACA tax credits, is set to once again fold by falling in line with her D.C. party bosses to back a Republican funding plan that does not include an extension at all.
REMINDER: Kiggans has openly admitted that she opposes extending the ACA tax credits beyond just one year, telling Punchbowl News: “We don’t need these.” Kiggans then admitted she will not join Democrats in pressing House leadership to include an extension of the ACA tax credits as a requirement for her government funding vote.

Because of Kiggans’ lies and inaction, Virginians’ health care costs will rise.

“Spineless Congresswoman Jen Kiggans is once again lying to Virginians by claiming she supports an extension for health care tax credits, but is instead prepared to vote for a funding plan that won’t stop their health care costs from spiking. Virginians deserve a representative who will fight for them, not one who folds every time the chips are down.”
