Lisa Scheller Wants Doug Mastriano to Decide if Women in PA Should Be Able to Have Abortions

This weekend, when asked about her position on abortion, Lisa Scheller told the Morning Call:

I think sending the legislation back to the states to let local people decide what they want to do is appropriate.

“Doug Mastriano, the far-right Republican nominee for governor in Pennsylvania, indicated in 2019 that women should be charged with murder if they violated a proposed abortion ban…Asked whether he believed in exceptions for rape or incest or to save the life of the mother, he replied during a primary debate, “I don’t give a way for exceptions.”

“Lisa Scheller supports allowing Doug Mastriano to ban abortion with no exceptions and charge women with murder in Pennsylvania.”
