Lori Chavez-DeRemer Fails to Name a Single Gun Safety Policy She Would Support

During Monday night’s debate, Republican candidate Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) was given the opportunity by her opponent to name one gun violence prevention policy she would support. She could have named any one of the popular, common sense gun safety policies that the vast majority of Oregonians support.

Yet Chavez-DeRemer couldn’t name a single one. Not one.

That’s because Chavez-DeRemer is an unrepentant extremist who would rather please her gun lobby backers than keep Oregonians safe. She has:

DCCC spokesperson Teddy Lake:
“On Monday night, we learned not only that Lori Chavez-DeRemer is woefully inept when it comes to policy, but also that she can’t be trusted to keep our communities safe from gun violence. We need serious leaders to fix this crisis – and Chavez-DeRemer is anything but serious.”
