Luna’s Latest Lunacy: Tanking Bipartisan Housing Negotiations

Anna Paulina Luna continues to be more of a Twitter Representative than a Representative for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. After the Senate successfully passed sweeping affordable housing legislation, Anna Paulina Luna is hellbent on destroying it in the House.

The bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act would ban large investors from buying up single family homes and encourage the construction of new housing – two incredibly popular policies – among other initiatives to lower the cost of housing.

SHOCKER! It seems Luna is never happy when there’s actual work to be done.

REMINDER: Florida has some of the least affordable housing nationwide, ranking 46th in the country and 50th for overall affordability. Recent surveys have shown that nearly half of Floridians have considered leaving the state due to rising costs as the average monthly rent increased by $500 in 3 years.

DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus:
“The 119th Congress has been one of the least productive in history – in large part due to Anna Paulina Luna’s obstructionism. Voters are struggling under the weight of House Republicans’ failed agenda that is leading to higher costs at the grocery store, at the gas pump, at the doctor’s office, and in nearly all parts of everyday life, but Anna Paulina Luna doesn’t care. Florida voters are sick of her temper tantrums and will show her the door in November.”
