| While Congressman Don Davis continues to work hard after bringing in over $54 million in funding for the people of Eastern North Carolina last year, out of touch Republican Laurie Buckhout has spent her time spewing lies on social media.
In a slew of social media posts, Buckhout claimed Congressman Davis was delivering checks for funding he did not vote for. The reality: the funding came from HR5371 and HR 6938, and Davis voted for both.
Davis has successfully secured and distributed over $8 million in funding to support hardworking families in North Carolina and led the charge to secure rural health care funding for communities across the state.
