Nearly three years to the day after a mob stormed the US Capitol, GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik would not commit to certifying the 2024 presidential election.
Will Alison Esposito – who praised fellow New Yorker and MAGA extremist Stefanik’s leadership and was her fundraising machine’s first endorsement of the cycle – commit to certifying the election or will she dutifully stand by Trump and Stefanik?
Make no mistake: Esposito’s Republican Party’s extreme leadership is still enabling efforts to promote false conspiracy theories and undermine our democracy on Trump’s orders. They will say or do anything to “bend the knee.”
