Erickson on Oregon’s abortion protections: “I don’t agree with that”
After weeks of conspicuous silence since his party unveiled its national abortion ban, MAGA Mike Erickson (OR-06) has finally revealed his intention to rip abortion access away from all Oregonians, calling for Oregon’s right to choose to “be looked at” for potential repeal.
And when asked point-blank about Oregon’s protections for the right to choose, Erickson said “I don’t agree with that.”
Make no mistake: Erickson won’t rest until Republicans ban abortion nationwide – even here in Oregon. And his comments are only made more disgusting by the fact that Erickson once paid for his ex-girlfriend’s abortion, then lied about it because he feared he’d lose the support of his far-right, anti-choice backers during his first failed run for Congress.
