Johnson is one of Trump’s “closest allies in Congress”
Today, MAGA Mike Johnson proclaimed he is “all in” on Donald Trump for president.
In an interview on CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box’, Johnson declared his fealty and asserted that he remains one of Trump’s closest allies in Congress. This should come as a surprise to no one, given the penchant these MAGA extremists share for trying to overturn elections, pass nationwide abortion bans, and embrace conspiracy theories.
Only days after the disgraced former president with 91 felony counts called his enemies “vermin,” Johnson is making absolutely no effort to hide his long standing support for far-right extremism.
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Usually when you go all in with a bad hand, it ends with a bad beat. Johnson’s jubilant endorsement is a stark reminder that the entire Republican conference is 100% with Trump and MAGA extremism, which voters have rejected repeatedly at the polls – and will do so again next November.”
