MAGA Republicans’ Project 2025 is DEEPLY unpopular.
In fact, a Navigator Research poll revealed that as Latino voters learn more about MAGA Republicans’ Project 2025, their opposition towards it increases – with 71 percent of Latinos opposing Project 2025 after learning more about its policies.
That’s why House Democrats are exposing how Project 2025 harms Latinos across the country. From raising costs and limiting education opportunities, to making health care less accessible and restricting abortion.
MAGA Republicans and their Project 2025 would severely restrict Latinos’ reproductive freedoms:
-
Restricting access to medication abortion, which impacts the 26% of Latinas who live in a state that bans or restricts abortion
-
Making it easier for extremists to access private medical information about women’s reproductive care
-
Increasing the threat of prosecution for abortion care
This week, the DCCC released a memo on how Project 2025 solidifies MAGA Republicans’ extremism.
DCCC Spokesperson José Muñoz:
“MAGA Republicans have continued to be obsessed with controlling women’s freedom to make decisions about their bodies. So it makes sense that their extreme agenda includes restrictions on a woman’s ability to make her own health care decisions. While Latinas are disproportionately impacted by abortion bans, Project 2025 only further cements MAGA Republicans’ commitment to limiting reproductive care.”
