Washington Republican leaders have handpicked Bob Healey only because they thought his ultra-rich family’s money could buy this seat in Congress. Shortly after Healey’s mom donated $2 million to a Republican super PAC backing her son, Republican leaders are now anointing Healey as a “Young Gun” candidate as a reward for that money.
Now that the Republican primary is over, Healey is trying to cast himself as a moderate, but voters will remember his radical position against abortion rights and his absolute cowardly silence in the wake of the mass murder of children in Texas.
