Yesterday, thanks to the leadership of Rep. Marcy Kaptur, the House passed the Susan Muffley Act, legislation to restore retirement benefits to more than 5,000 Ohio Delphi retirees. 174 Republicans voted against the bill.
Meanwhile, J.R. Majewski has refused to come clean to voters about whether he supports his party’s plans to cut – or completely dismantle – Social Security, and has even collaborated with an organization that praised the “visionary leadership” of Washington Republicans’ dangerous plan.
Ohioans deserve to know: would J.R. Majewski side with his extreme party bosses who are coming after Ohioans’ Social Security benefits?
“Majewski and his party’s toxic agenda are a serious threat to the pensions and Social Security benefits hard-working Ohioans have earned,” said DCCC spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre. “If Majewski can’t be honest with voters about his position, he can’t be trusted to represent them in Congress.”
