Republicans Admit: The More Malliotakis Debates The Issues, The More Likely She’ll Lose
Nicole Malliotakis wants to skate through the primary by refusing to debate fellow Republican Joe Caldarera, and unfortunately for Washington’s handpicked candidate, local Republicans have said the quiet part out loud.
Turns out, the more Malliotakis debates the issues, the more damage she does to her campaign.
Staten Island Republican Party Chairman Brendan Lantry warned that a debate between Malliotakis and Caldarera could “damage the Republican Party’s chosen candidate,” as reported by the Staten Island Advance.
Well, he’s right about that…
Maybe that’s why she’s been so quiet about the dangers of ingesting disinfectant?
“Local and national Republicans know Nicole Malliotakis is the biggest threat to her own campaign,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “Nicole Malliotakis has flip-flopped on vaccines, gun control, health care funding, sanctuary cities, the border wall, and even President Trump. You can’t debate what you can’t defend. No wonder Nicole is running scared.”
