Malliotakis Calls for Investigations Into Nursing Homes, But Voted For Bill That Shields Them From Liability
Another day, another confusing stance from Nicole Malliotakis, and this one is perhaps the most egregious.
In public, career Albany politician Nicole Malliotakis wants voters to hear her calling for investigations into nursing homes in order to hold them accountable for their actions during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, behind closed doors, Malliotakis voted for a budget carve-out that grants protections to those same nursing homes absolving them, in part, from accountability during the ongoing pandemic.
This is just the latest in a string of inconsistencies in Malliotakis’ record. So far, she’s been on both sides of almost every issue. From vaccines, gun control, health care funding, sanctuary cities, the border wall, and even President Trump, we just can’t keep up with who Nicole is each day.
“Nicole Malliotakis has a bad habit of saying one thing with her vote and another in the press,” said Christine Bennett. “She doesn’t know who she wants to be and neither does the district – it’s no wonder they don’t take her seriously.”
