Marc Molinaro Continues to Embrace Trump’s Call to Pardon Violent Insurrectionists

Jan. 6th insurrectionists led to the deaths of five Capitol police officers and injured 140 others

Yesterday, Donald Trump spouted numerous horrific comments during an interview with the NABJ, including reiterating his pledge to pardon the violent insurrectionists who attacked police officers on January 6th:

Reporter: “My question is about those rioters who assaulted those officers. Will you pardon them?”

Trump: “Absolutely. I would.”

This is Trump’s most explicit promise yet to pardon violent criminals.

Marc Molinaro must answer to Upstate New Yorkers for his continued endorsement of Trump and his calls to pardon fellow convicted criminals, even those who assaulted police.

DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Marc Molinaro has refused to denounce Trump’s repeated promises to pardon the rioters who attacked police on January 6th. If Molinaro can’t stand up for law and order against Trump, why would Upstate New Yorkers ever trust him to do so back home?”
