Marc Molinaro pledged allegiance to Kevin McCarthy this morning after the House GOP’s extremist ringleader was caught in a bold-faced lie.
The very same Kevin McCarthy who donated to Molinaro and endorsed him in March, and whose “leadership” Molinaro praises, saying this country “deserves” him.
Leadership?
Just hours after decrying New York Times reporting about him telling Trump to resign, saying it was “totally false and wrong,” Kevin McCarthy was caught on tape explicitly suggesting Trump should resign.
McCarthy knew January 6 was a stain on our history, and then proceeded to continue groveling for Trump’s support.
Since he is already a rubber-stamp for lying Washington Republicans, Marc Molinaro must answer to voters: Will he go on the record about whether or not Donald Trump should have been impeached following the insurrection on January 6?
And if he won’t answer, this is just another example of why New Yorkers can’t trust Marc Molinaro – especially when it comes to defending the most basic values of our democracy.
