During the RNC, House Republicans policies that would harm the middle class are on full display
During the final day of the RNC, Republicans – from Donald Trump to Marc Molinaro – are broadcasting on national television their disastrous agenda that would tank the economy, spike inflation, result in massive layoffs, and extend tax cuts for the ultra wealthy.
Since the bill was signed into law, Molinaro and House Republicans have voted dozens of times to repeal the job creating investments in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which has already created over 150,000 manufacturing jobs and is projected to create over 1.5 million jobs by 2030. Their attempts to repeal this historic legislation would also raise costs on working families by:
Raising costs for 3.3 million people on Medicare by eliminating the IRA caps on prescription drugs – including the $35 per month cap on insulin.
But that hasn’t stopped vulnerable House Republicans from trying to falsely take credit for the jobs and investments created from legislation passed by House Democrats – that they themselves voted ‘No’ on. Molinaro has touted the IRA as “exceptionally important” in attracting jobs to his district — after voting to repeal the provisions he praised.

“Marc Molinaro couldn’t care less about creating jobs or lowering costs for working and middle class families. He would rather prioritize an extreme agenda that threatens our rights, freedoms, and democracy than deliver for Upstate New York families, and that’s why voters will reject Molinaro in November.”
