Mariannette Miller-Meeks spent the weekend cozying up to the extreme Republican presidential field, including those who have advocated for a national abortion ban.
Weeks after Iowa Republicans signed one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country into law, Miller-Meeks has yet to tell Iowans where she stands, but her extreme anti-abortion record speaks for itself:
Co-sponsored legislation that further chips away at abortion coverage for women with both private and public insurance.
Voted to allow states to ban abortion by blocking consideration of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would have codified the reproductive freedoms Roe v. Wade guaranteed before the Supreme Court ripped them away.
Received an A+ rating from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, whose mission was to “end abortion.”
