| Mariannette Miller-Meeks just cannot help herself.
First, she refused to extend key tax credits that 24,000 Iowans in her district rely on to afford their health care.
Now, she’s doubling down AGAIN in opposition to tax credits – dismissing the concerns of Iowa families who rely on these tax credits to afford their health care and will now have to pay more thanks to Miller-Meeks’ agenda.
REMINDER: 24,000 people in IA-01 will see their health care costs skyrocket, nearly doubling, when these tax credits end – forcing them to pay higher costs or lose their health care. 11,600 people will lose their health care off the bat because they can’t afford higher premiums.
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks wants to raise Iowans’ premiums and kick them off their health care if they can’t afford higher costs – she is completely out-of-touch.”
