Happy Labor Day weekend to everyone but Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who has a record of voting against hard-working Iowans and repeatedly opposing fair pay and labor rights.
Her anti-labor record includes:
Voting for the Default on America Act, which would cut off access to job training and development programs for workers, repeal prevailing wage requirements, and gut the National Labor Relations Board.
Voting against the PRO Act, which would strengthen unions and protect workers’ right to unionize and fight for fair pay, benefits, and work conditions.
DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“Since being in Congress, Mariannette Miller-Meeks has used her position to vote against labor and hurt workers. She has attacked labor unions, threatened workers’ rights, and attempted to roll back workplace safety and wage protections. Time and time again, Miller-Meeks has proved she stands against Iowa workers.”
