Marking One Year Without Roe, DCCC Launches Campaign to Hold Brian Fitzpatrick Accountable for Anti-Abortion Extremism

One year after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade, Brian Fitzpatrick has continued his assault on reproductive freedoms, despite an overwhelming 80% of Americans who oppose a national abortion ban. To highlight just how out of step Fitzpatrick is with the voters he represents, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee this week announced new, early efforts to hold Fitzpatrick accountable for his anti-abortion crusade.

The campaign in Pennsylvania includes:

• A new microsite, expanding upon an investment from last year that outlines Fitzpatrick’s dangerous attacks on access to reproductive health care

• Three new digital ads, backed by four-figure buys, that will run against Fitzpatrick and other vulnerable House Republicans

The DCCC is making the stakes of this election crystal clear in Pennsylvania. With this campaign and others throughout the cycle, the DCCC will continue to highlight the extreme anti-abortion positions that Fitzpatrick has staked out.

To that end, the DCCC is distributing a fact sheet highlighting Fitzpatrick’s dangerous positions on stripping away reproductive freedoms HERE.

“Brian Fitzpatrick, who has desperately tried to scrub his anti-abortion agenda, has only helped Republicans’ draconian efforts to ban abortion nationwide. In the earliest weeks of the MAGA majority, he voted to punish doctors for providing reproductive care. Fitzpatrick cannot be trusted to defend Pennsylvania womens’ fundamental rights and freedoms and, as a result, will be voted out of office in 2024.”
