First, WA-08 candidate Matt Larkin refused to accept the results of the 2020 election.
Then he refused to take a stance on setting up a bipartisan commission to investigate the horrific events of Jan 6.
Now, Larkin is going even further down the far-right rabbit hole and peddling baseless conspiracy theories about the Capitol riot that left five people dead – including members of law enforcement – and hundreds more injured.
During a recent interview Larkin affirmed the host’s dangerous conspiracy theories about Jan 6 – which included saying that the deadly attack was “peaceful protest,” questioning “who let them in,” and even going so far as to say that the “whole thing was a set up.”

Host: They burned down cities for six months.
Larkin: Yeah.
Host: And then called a peaceful protest a disaster. When if you want to get into that, who let them in to begin with? I mean there’s a whole question about the whole thing
Larkin: Yeah.
Host: Was a set up.
“Larkin has long been going down the far-right rabbit hole, but peddling conspiracy theories about a deadly riot is a new low,” said DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw. “Larkin’s extreme stances are not just out of touch with the people of Washington, they’re downright dangerous.”
