Max Miller Greenlights Scheme to Raise Taxes On Middle-Class Families, Kick Millions Off Health Insurance

This morning, Max Miller voted to advance a massive tax scam that would result in millions losing health insurance, raise costs on everyday Americans, and jack up taxes for middle-class Ohio families while giving a huge handout to the ultra-rich.

As a member of the Ways & Means Committee, Miller was a key vote to advance an out-of-control tax scam that:

• Permanently lowers taxes for millionaires and raises taxes for working class Ohioans.

• Fails to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits that 22,000 people in OH-07 depend on for high-quality, private sector health insurance.

• Hands out a permanent estate tax break to the wealthiest 0.1%, costing everyday Americans $200 billion.

Even worse: When Miller had a chance to vote on an amendment that would extend ACA tax credits for 22,000 of his constituents, he refused.
