MercyOne Ottumwa Health Clinic Closes Its Doors Today. Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks Owe Iowans Answers.

Since Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks’ votes for the largest cuts to Medicaid in history, hospitals and health care clinics across Iowa have closed their doors, scaled down services, and laid off staff – “cit[ing] federal cuts.”

ICYMI: The DCCC launched a first-of-its-kind rural engagement ad campaign today highlighting Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Zach Nunn’s votes to gut Medicaid and defund rural hospitals.

DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Zach Nunn and Mariannette Miller-Meeks gutted Medicaid and ripped funding from rural hospitals, and now Iowans are feeling the consequences. Nunn and Miller-Meeks are making the rural health care crisis even worse and voters will hold them accountable this November.”
